“Beautiful”

“This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the Blue Agave and like the last 2 times it was an absolutely wonderful experience. Very comfortable cottage that is very well maintained. Really appreciate the owner letting us bring our dogs. Not too many place allow that in Fort Davis. We will return again. One concern was the lock box that the key was in. We got the key out just fine but we could get the key back in the lock box or reinsert the lock box. So I had to leave the key under the doormat when……

“We, along with 2 other couples rode in from Dallas to visit Big Bend. This was the perfect place to relax after a full day of riding. Host was helpful and quick to respond when we had questions.”

“The house was very comfortable and as advertised. We visited local attractions for hiking/exploring including Big Bend National park (about 2 hour drive) and Davis Mountain State Park about a 1/2 hour outside of Marfa. Restaurants are limited if you’re planning to eat out with most closed in Marfa on Mondays and Tuesdays. We used the gas grill at the house to make do. Internet was limited in the area but just fine at the house. Marfa provided a quiet, friendly and slowed down environment to……

Every detail is thoughtful and artfully curated to make you comfortable, but to take advantage of the spacious and amazing Marfa Sky. We saw a prong horn antelope! You can't see that in Dallas! “We loved the neat historic hotel. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Enjoyed snacks and drinks in the bar in the evening.”

“No real bar even though they say they have a bar and grill. Food was good. Area around hotel seemed run down. Not certain it was safe to walk around, so we did not. Rooms were great, large, clean. No noise to disturb us. Shuttle to airport was well run and 24 hours. Staff very nice. ”
