「It is a quaint place if you don’t mind the fact that it is a bit out of the way. It does have metro and bus very close by. Had an incident at the hotel but the staff attended to situation quickly and diligently. The hotel is an older hotel so if you are looking for something upscale you may want to reconsider. 」

Went to breakfast and was told we had to be finished within half an hour… people on the next table… the waitress actually asked them to leave!! 「The pub was fantastic all the staff and locals made us feel very welcome even bringing a sausage and a bit of steak out for our dog. The food was amazing all top quality and the room was incredible, double walk in shower and stand alone bath. Just what was needed after a fab day walking Pendle top!! We will defo be back」

However there was a gaping hole filled with cobwebbed pipes and the view out of the window was over bins. The room was cold but a portable heater was provided and sufficient. 「We stayed in cottage 3 only one night unfortunately as I could look at that view from our window forever. The cottage was spotless and lovely and warm and there was everything you could need for a longer stay . The food was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful.
