「We needed a place to stay for the practice rounds of the Open at St. Andrews and this idyllic town on the River Tay was perfect. The pictures are quite accurate, but remember, if you’re visiting in summer, that this house and nearly all of Scotland has no air conditioning. 「Our host was lovely and helpful in the run up to our stay, answering questions we had, which made things easy for us. The property was in a very convenient and quiet/peaceful location with good facilities nearby. 「We’ve just had a lovely weekend at the Old Stables. We really enjoyed the large, open plan kitchen/living/dining area, the hot tub and sauna and the very impressive cinema room. The house was very clean and Hazel was a great host, providing all the details we needed and very responsive to messages. Alyth is a nice wee village and the whole area is absolutely gorgeous. We had a terrific walk in the Den of Alyth and a glorious day at Glamis Castle which is very close by. 」

「We had a wonderful week, based at Jessamine cottage, with helpful communication from the owner.Everything that we needed was provided, as well as a very generous welcome hamper.
