"We had a wonderful week, based at Jessamine cottage, with helpful communication from the owner.Everything that we needed was provided, as well as a very generous welcome hamper. The cottage is very comfortable and clean, and in a good quiet location.We used the walking leaflets and books for inspiration. "Could not recommend this accommodation enough - a real hidden gem! Massive, secure 2 bedroom apartment in a wider bunkhouse complex which was, when we stayed, not occupied. Only 5 mins drive from Kirriemuir and so quiet and peaceful - in the heart of the countryside. Comms were great and all mod cons throughout including WiFi, TVs in all rooms and even a starter hamper! Will definitely book again. The dog loved the outdoor space which is literally ‘on your doorstep’! A+"

"We very much enjoyed our 2-night stay at the Fairmont in late November. Location is stunning, in close proximity to the sea and accessible coastal path. Our room was large and very comfortable and well furnished. All staff we encountered were extremely helpful, particularly Emma /Emily on reception (who dealt efficiently with a room booking discrepancy caused by Expedia) and Alex on Concierge. Breakfast buffet was excellent, with a la carte options and egg station. Swimming pool was large with a well organised booking system. The spa lived up to expectation. The golf practice facilities were very good and open to all residents. Unfortunately I didn’t get to play the golf courses on site as planned owing to the weather, but they looked scenic and well maintained. There is a regular shuttle bus service into historic St Andrews town, which is a few miles away. Would definitely stay there again. "
