“Warm welcome room ready. Slight smell of damp in bathroom. Side of window in main bedroom poorly repaired with polystyrene tile. Public areas 0f hotel were decorated and looked after. Staff were great friendly, helpful and very attentive. Food was great both evening meals were great. Good menu selection.”

“Fantastic stay! Great and easy stay. Staff were welcoming and our room was large, clean and had everything we needed for a perfectly comfortable nights stay. Brekkie was excellent with lots of choice and had a lovely view to the garden. Loads of parking and highly recommend! We stayed in the newer section at the back. Short walk into Pitlochry.”

“Lovely hotel in the centre of Pitlochry. Easy check in and the room was spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable. The bar/restaurant was popular and the food and service were excellent. We didn't book but I would advise booking during the busy season to ensure that you get a table. The breakfast was also very good with a wide selection available.”

“We had an amazing stay at the Craigatin House - John is an excellent host - very personable, helpful and he'll book dinner reservations if you like! Our room was charming and very clean - we had a two night stay and housekeeping was there quite early - we were pleasantly surprised the room was done! Breakfast is yummy! DO try the Whiskey porridge - you'll love it, as well as the full Scottish breakfast in the gorgeous sun room. The check-out was very smooth, and there is ample parking -……

It is a steep walk back up the hill from Pitlochry if you have walking difficulties. We would probably stay again though. ”

“Run don't walk and book Poplars, it was a lovely stay! Nancy welcomed us like long lost friends and made us feel at home. A beautiful property, we stayed on the top floor overlooking the mountains and rooftops of Pitlochry. So many personal touches and the property is immaculate. The guest lounge is warm and inviting too! Our stay was perfect. Breakfast was wonderful and make sure you try the porridge with whiskey! Run, don't walk.. a glorious guest house stay.”
