“We absolutely loved our stay here. Linda and Tony have a rare gem of a place with The Scarla. Linda has personally styled the place with a unique blend of art deco vs modern and it works superbly. We could not fault any part of our stay, from the gorgeous room, comfy bed, tasty food but most important, what truly makes The Scarla a true gem, is Tony and Linda. They are the most welcoming, friendliest couple. You can see how much they enjoy meeting their guest, chatting with everyone at breakfast……

“Fabulous three nights spent at this gem of a guest house. Steve and Elaine were perfect hosts, going above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Lovely breakfast with lots of choice, room and bathroom were as good as they could be. Comfortable bed and powerful shower (always a must in my book) were spot on. Parking available for a decent price. The Arthington is a winner in Blackpool and fully deserves all its plaudits.”

“Breakfast was absolutely delicious, the room was beautiful, a travel cot was provided for my baby and my bed was very comfortable, one of the comfiest beds I’ve slept in. The hosts were so attentive and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Very family friendly! I will definitely be back and would 100% recommend to anyone 👌”

And I'm a giant, if you're normal sized you'll be fine :-) Always nice to visit a proper hotel with reception, bar / restaurant staff etc rather than some converted terrace. Top brekky too.”

“What can I say,. The hosts were absolutely amazing from check in to check out. They couldn't do enough for you. The hotel itself is undergoing some major refurbishment which did not impact our stay in disturbance. The only impact was no bar was available but they had a solution (you can use the bar in the next door property) the rooms were clean, habitable and comfortable. Even though ours was a very small room (advertised for 3) but it could just fit 1 double and our newborn. We were lucky……

Ss on our previous visit,the room,which was the luxury deluxe king,was spacious, extremely clean with a wonderful king size bed as well as a two seated sofa,dressing table and chair. This room was very spacious,with a very good size ensuite, featuring a large shower tray. The owners can't do enough,if you need anything,they will ensure you will get it.
