The hotel is situated in a beautiful location, with stunning views. The very minute we arrives we were made welcome, despite the hotel being very busy. I was delighted to be contacted a few days prior to our arrival by the owner, who advised us that there were a good few booked in for dinner on the evening we arrived, and would we like to book a time for dinner, so we wouldnt be waiting around. This simple gesture was much appreciated. Overall everythin about the Glenisla was top class.

Beautiful setting, lovely breakfast and food, and great ambiance. Loved the lounge room with available games for guests. Also a great place to hike from.

Très bon emplacement, très calme, au milieu de la nature. Chambre très confortable et propre. Restaurant très apprécié, cuisine de qualité, petit déjeuner copieux. Bémol : les plats en semaine sont moins élaborés que ceux du weekend

Beautiful but best for an overnight stay
A lovely hotel. Delicious food and excellent service. The hotel appeared to be several buildings made into one with larger rooms divided into smaller ones. Unfortunately, this meant there was nowhere to relax in the bedroom, apart from on the bed. No dressing table or small desk, for instance, where personal effects could be left. Also the dividing room was a stud wall where we could hear every word of our neighbours' conversation; even with our television on. The shower room was immaculately clean but, again, very small. A larger than average person would find it an uncomfortable fit in the corner shower. Ok for an overnight stay or even two nights. We found it a trifle claustrophobic staying for several nights. There is a very small lounge with seating for four .... in a hotel accommodating ten double bedrooms.

We had a wonderful comfortable stay. The hotel is situated in a beautiful quiet location very close to the Cairngorms National Park. The room was very comfortable, the food was excellent and the staff very friendly. Thoroughly recommended.

Great hotel, friendly staff and amazing food.
Had a fantastic night in the Glenisla hotel. Room was lovely and the food is amazing. Stayed here with my wife and were made to feel welcome from the minute we arrived. Staff were extremely friendly.

Having stayed here in the past, we were gobsmacked to see the place now The decorations are perfect, they remembered this was a country inn not a city hostelry The new bar is beautiful and the extension to the dining room is bright and airy and it leads out to the Garden The food is lovely and plentiful The staff are so helpful and cheery Lastly the bedrooms are very comfortable, heating works and the en-suite neat and tidy We will definitely return

A Hidden Gem!!
It is a very long time since I was last at the Glenisla Hotel, it has had a recent makeover and is absolutely lovely. The lady at reception (sorry, I can’t remember her name) was very welcoming and made us feel at home. The food was very nice and is reasonably priced. There was a range of choices for breakfast and again, it was superb. The room was clean, well maintained and comfortable. I will definitely be back!

Great hotel, food was delicious. Rooms were modern and clean. Only downside was the heating was switched off in the night. The room became very cold

Recently renovated. Excellent selection of teas and coffee in the room and good food downstairs. Bed comfortable. We could see roe deer and phesants from our window.

Lovely and welcoming hotel
Exceptional value for money. Very impressed with the hotel, looked brand new with lovely furnishings. Staff very friendly. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent. One thing to note is that it is not actually in Blairgowrie as we had expected but in a small village own a long, windy and narrow road.

Good value and friendly service, very clean.
Friendly welcome, very comfortable room and the bed was fantastic. Lovely breakfast with prompt service. All in all , I couldn't fault it ....
