"Aircondition isn’t working well"

"When we first checked in and the smell in the lobby was unbearable. It smelled like sewage. The entire first floor was being renovated. That created a lot of noise into the evening. Once we entered our room, the heat was not working properly. We complained to the front desk they said they did not have any other rooms and they sent a technician who did not do anything with the system. The bedside outlets were not working. Sunday morning housekeeping was vacuuming starting before 8 AM. Before 9 AM Sunday morning of the construction crew came back and started banging all over the first floor. We were on the second floor and can hear it loud and clear. We used the gym which had an empty water dispenser. The equipment was filthy. The canister of wipes were dried out so we couldn’t even wipe down the equipment. When we return to our room, our keys no longer worked. An hour after checking in on Saturday, I called Holiday Inn customer service and told them I was not happy with the conditions. They contacted the hotel and told me that the manager would be calling me directly to rectify the situation. I asked when and she said within a few minutes. That was Saturday late afternoon. It’s now Tuesday night, I still haven’t heard from anybody."

"Our stay here was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had every amenity we could possibly need. It truly felt like a home away from home.The attention to detail was amazing—from the cozy touches throughout the space to the thoughtful extras that made our stay even more comfortable.All the little touches, like the bottle of wine waiting for us, the stocked coffee bar, the little candy jar, made everything feel so special and thoughtful. The location was perfect as well—quiet and relaxing, yet still close to everything we wanted to do. JB's on the Water had an excellent brunch. Beautiful Newport was a very quick drive away. Plenty of local spots and activities to explore!Our host was fantastic—responsive, kind, and clearly committed to making sure guests have a great experience. Check-in was seamless, and we felt well taken care of the entire time.We would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!"

"this is a basic motel for a 1-2 night stay. Clean, easy parking, lots of retail on main road. "

"The cottage was quaint. It was the best supplied one we ever stayed in. It was very clean. The location was perfect to explore Newport, Jamestown, Providence, all the beaches etc. The best part was the hosts Ruth and Kenneth went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. When one of the 3 tvs wasn’t working he brought one of his own over to replace it. We highly recommend staying at the cottage ."

"This was a perfect stay for us. My in-laws are minutes away down Post Rd and Tyler’s property was space for us to land as a family, while also doing the extended family activities over New Years. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dog and the location was quiet. Bonus, we had gorgeous fresh snow on New Years morning. I would absolutely recommend this place and hope to rent again. "

"House is very pretty and spacious.Communication could have been better. I used the VRBO portal to try to resolve a miscommunication two days before arrival and it took a day and a half to receive a response. Host told me I should have texted him but I was never provided his phone number.There are 5 heat pumps/AC split system units but only one controller provided. This negates the feature of having guests be able to independently set temperatures to be comfortable in the lower level. Be prepared to bring extra towels - only 1 bath towel (old and tired) provided per guest and one hand towel per bathroom. "
