"We stayed in Hotel Royal during a week before high season. The personnel very, very friendly and helpful. The room we had on the top floor was nice, with a double bed and a spacious sunny balcony. Everything was clean. Breakfast had all you wanted and more. We enjoyed our stay very much."

"The property was easy to find and the host was responsive to my communications. I did have to initiate things though: e.g. sending details of guests so that we were registered for the tourist tax (non-payment can result in a 150 fine at the airport). Also on the day we arrived at the airport, there was an EU Summit taking place, rendering all the roads in and out of the airport closed for 2 days. We were not notified of this by the host and only found about it on arrival from the hire car company. Though them we had to walk to the jetty outside the airport where a boat took us across the fjord to a jetty nearest to the villa. We then had to cancel our hire car booking (and claim on insurance for the loss), return to the Airport 2 days later having made a new booking and only then did we have transport. This was a unique event but we weren't informed apart from by Easyjet on the day of arrival. Once we got to the villa all was fine. However, there is no hanging space/rail provided apart from in one bedroom. There is very little furniture in each room apart from a bed and in our room a small dressing room. We were a group of older adults and I think the least that should be provided in each room would be a rail with hangers and also bedside tables. We had to move chairs and a coffee table from a living area into our room and take a small bedside table from another room to provide the most basic bedroom furniture requirements."
