「The room was clean, and the AC/heat worked. The shower had plenty of hot water & pressure, but the tub and sink did not drain well. Bathroom needs a do-over. Breakfast was terrible. The toaster had no return tray or mechanism, so the toast fell on the counter at the back. No eggs, no tea, food stale, sausage gray from days before.」

「Had an unexpected stop in Staunton, VA due to tire problems… booked the Blackburn Inn last minute to stay over and get van new tires. Pulled up and thought we were at wrong place. A beautiful historic colonial building looked like a college campus but was the Blackburn Inn. I researched and found out it used to be a hospital built in 1800’s. Very clean, well maintained and restored. The front desk allowed me to keep my room till noon on checkout while waiting for van repair. Only...

「Easy to get to with friendly staff. There was plenty of parking. There is coffee and tea available in the lobby and hot breakfast in the morning with reasonable hours. The room was standard. There was a piece of carpet cut out near the tv that was then place back. Kind of distracting.」
