「Unacceptable, below what I thought was VRBO’s standards.」

「There was no hand soap in the bathroom soap dispenser, so we just used the Dawn soap from the kitchen. Also, the bathroom trash was not emptied from previous guests. Otherwise, it appeared clean and it was in a great location next to Drake University.」

「Great host. Clean place with sweet welcoming decor. Plenty of towels, dishes. Great spaces for us to gather and plenty of very comfortable beds.」

「If you need to be on campus, this is the perfect spot! Squeaky clean, it has everything you need. The only small issue is the on-street parking which was tricky during the relays but I’m sure is better other times during the year. It was quiet and the other tenants were considerate.. loved it! 」

Some small improvement can be done to the kitchen to make it even better. I can recommend the property for any traveler coming to Des Moines.」

「The problem is that there is no local help with this property. The apartment is managed by a company in Atlanta. I couldn’t find the key nor figure out how to lock the apartment, and getting help was cumbersome calling the management company in Atlanta, then awaiying a conversation with the on-call person. Then waiting for the Atlanta manager to phone someone in Ames.The building is full of students and reasonably quiet.The washing machine was missing a foot and thus juggled it’s way out of...
