“AVOID!!! This place is disgusting. Stains and heavy wear and tear throughout room. Half the outlets didn’t work, the room REAKED of smoke, and there was a rusty piece of metal just laying on the floor. The staff member who checked us in acted like we were an inconvenience and barely spoke to us except for short clipped sentences. When we came to complain about the smoke she just said “okay” and handed us this canister that resembled a flea bomb that sprayed citrus everywhere. It smelled awful.……

“This was the perfect place for my group and our needs. Enough beds with options; a dark, quiet room in the basement, a shared room with a two full beds, the top floor king size suite, even a pull out sofa! All useful accommodations for a party of 5 or more. To top it off, the roof top hot tub with a city skyline view was incredible! It was a great location too, in walking distance to our venue in South Philly. Everything worked out perfectly, and I'm grateful that this option was available.……

“Expedia was fine. But this property was very fair. It was managed by Capital Hotel. A VRBO.
I tried to call Capital Hotel before check in .. no call back. I did receive a check in text on a chat line that was monitored. Requested a later check out. None granted.
The check in directions required that we read them 4-5 times to put all the pieces together. Also the place was advertised as a 2BR. When the check in info came in, it was noted as a one bedroom. So I got nervous. Turned out to be a……
