“Beeping smoke alarm which we had to sort out ourselves, kitchen door off hinges, toilet seat not fixed properly , bathroom door handle missing
I do not expect to have to go searching for the electrical fuse box to turn the smoke alarms on.
Location was great for our family party in Digbeth, shower was brilliant, place was clean and was quite decent apart from the issues listed above ”

“Good: The room is big relative to its price. The bed is comfortable. The price is cheap.
Bad: The key doesn't function well and it is hard to open the door. There is no fan or air conditioner. The area is unsafe. Toilet is smelly when I move in and I have to wash myself. There is no house keeping. It is also a pub so it is noisy at night. It closes at 11pm on weekdays but not sure about weekend. It is better to check yourself if you want to live on weekend.”

“I am not sure it is my bad luck or what, my check in date is the football match day, the roads are block, my car cann drive to near by area, the car park is closed, the hotel is in a mess with lots of football fans and bear.
i have to stop the car far away to walk to the cashier, and ask for check in. And it is crazy noisy and messy as 99.99% are football fans there just after a match.
The fans are NOT friendy seeing i am not wear the home football tee like them.

“I was not able to stay in this place, they had not sent me the code to access by the check in time. As such I had to pay for alternative accommodation. Do not stay here. Hotels.com should remove this place. They gave a number to call but the phone was off. ”

“Unfortunately the apartment wasn’t not suitable for us to stay when we arrived.The building is rundown with flickering lights and a strong smell of weed. Although the flat was cleaner and more presentable the smell of cannabis came through the vents as these were broken, including the extractor in the bathroom. There were also flickering lights in the bathroom and one of the sliding windows in the living room had a gap and doesn’t close properly, letting the cold in.
The owner was responsive……

“We couldn't stay in the Digbeth apartment and were moved to another apartment which was not in Digbeth.The check in procedure was difficult to understand,we were given a code to take to the petrol station which was 5 minutes down the road. We were given the wrong code and had to contact the property again . The apartment itself was not very clean at all especially the shower cubicles. The property had a musty smell throughout.Not impressed we would not recommed this property.”

“We have loved our time at New Hall Hotel. The place is beautiful.
We end up visiting again within rhe same week it was so nice. Whenever we come to the west Midlands this is where we stay.
The rooms are spacious and clean, the food is lovely and a nice selection. Everyone speaks to you and makes you feel welcome.
Next time we will try the spa.
