综合来说还是不错的。这个区域算是老城区了，家庭旅馆式的Inn。就是一开始为了洗澡水和暖气的事情有点周折，毕竟老房子，出现点状况也蛮正常。服务很好，会尽力办到你有求于他们的事情。早饭简单了点而已，其实不必太挑剔啦。

Hervorragende Lage zur Straßenbahn und nicht weit zum Fenway Park. Das Bad zu Zimmer 7 lag auf der anderen Seite des Flurs. Zimmer 7 liegt an der Straße. Dort fährt die Straßenbahn vorbei. Das Fenster war mit Tape „abgedichtet“ und enthielt ein fingerdickes Loch. Mit anderen Worten: ohne sehr gute Ohrenstöpsel hätte ich kaum geschlafen.

What a cool and unique place to stay!! Stayed overnight while attending a concert @ MGM Fenway. Great location, lots of eateries, shopping and coffee nearby. Staff is so friendly and helpful with check in, parking and check out. Definitely would stay again.

Close to a 'T' stop. Bed was comfortable and room large. Bathroom a bit tiny but it is an old brownstone. The location is it's primary draw. There are restaurants and a convenience store a block away across the street. Everyone was pleasant. It's a solid choice when in Boston.

Be VERY CAREFUL if you are booking a room with a detached bathroom. These detached bathrooms are not as private as they claim to be. Everything was clean enough and fine, but there was no way to lock the detached bathrooms from the outside so you cannot leave any of your things in there. Additionally, the complimentary breakfast is very bare bones. Some staff were friendly, others were not. It's a bit of a gamble to see who you'll deal with. At least the train station is right across the street. If the price is cheap, I would recommend booking. Otherwise, I wouldn't book if the price is too high.

I was assigned to a room in which I found a towel on top of an armoir. I also noticed that there was no deadbolt on the door. The lock on the room door was filmsy while the latch on the bathroom door could lock you in. On my first night, I dealt with a noise disturbance from a male patron. On my second night, I was exposed against my will to a blunt. In addition, I kearned that my female former neighbor was also lodging there which unnerved me. She and her male roommate have stalked me for the past four months. A room change was granted due to the second hand smoke. The inn is charming and cute. However, one does not take a trip out of state to celebrate a birthday to encounter a person who is stalking her. I found that encounter to be offputting plus the lack of secure locks on the room doors.

The staff were fabulous and the room was spacious and comfortable. Decor was unique and fabulous, which made for a cultured experience. It made me know I was in historic Boston just in the room! I look forward to staying here again!

It was good until we discovered bites all over one guest’s back after our last of three nights. :-(. I messaged the Beacon Inn through Expedia about that problem after we returned home, and still have received no response more than two weeks later. That’s a definite negative on top of the very negative of whatever bugs were apparently present. On the positive, the room was spacious and the location right by a T stop was terrific. The neighborhood felt safe to be walking until around 8 PM, even though it got dark very early. As other guests have mentioned, it’s an older property, so don’t expect modern glitz, but certainly adequate for a night’s sleep. Given the bites, and no response from the property, I wouldn’t stay again.
