We stayed here for my oldest son’s graduation from Lasell university in nearby Auburndale. It was a quick drive to campus for the ceremony. Parking was a little tight but we made it work. The place was clean, bright and comfortable. It had everything we needed.

We enjoyed the clean and comfortable beds and the interior decorating is very well done. The first and third floors connect with a steep set of stairs that you just need to be mindful of if you have any mobility challenges. The internet worked great and the kitchen had necessary items. The family living on the 2nd floor are very kind and you do hear pitter patters of activity but it was not intrusive. All in all, pleasant stay.

Pros - beautiful old home, clean, very well appointed, furniture comfortable-with ample seating, hugh television, kitchen fully stocked, 2 designated parking spots, walking distance to restaurants on Moody Street. Cons - rental is the 1st and 3rd floors and the stairs to the 3rd floor are steep and winding. It's a multi-family unit....lots of noise at all hours, it's a corner lot which can see a lot of vehicle traffic.

I enjoyed my stay here and Jara the property manager/owner was extremely helpful he made the whole process a breeze from start to finish especially considering this was my first time using Vrbo. This home is a big space as advertised with a spacious kitchen for cooking plus all the dish-ware we needed was provided which was really nice. The house was really clean and seems to have been recently updated. However the main bathroom downstairs has old drop ceilings which are uncommon for bathrooms and probably should be updated. Also the shower handle was a little tricky to operate. The garage is very small and we were not able to park our midsize SUV inside which maybe an issue if your visiting during the winter months. Overall tho it was a great visit to 16 Gardner St. Waltham and I would definitely recommend anyone traveling to the Waltham area who needs extra space at an affordable rate to stay at this property! 😄👍
