"Superb hotel for a visit to Richmond. Great location on the hill just a few minutes walk to the park or into the town. The spa was ideal for a relaxing afternoon, restaurant had a good menu and very modern, comfy rooms. Will definitely return."

"Beautiful property in a great location for walking around Richmond! The only missing star is because the shower's maximum temperature was luke warm/cool. It had a pulsing stream of warm a couple pulses then cool a couple of pulses. But the bathroom floor is heated and that helped."

"We recently used this hotel as a stay before a flight and it was the worst hotel I have ever used, I’m not sure why hotels.com are still advertising it. The hotel looks abandoned, our room had mould on the walls, stains on the curtains, plaster was falling off the wall, the window wouldn’t shut, lights kept flickering, the bathroom was filthy. We were located in the family room 11 when I asked the reception about changing she said they had no other family room and would not allow us 2 rooms, she said she would offer a refund if I contact hotels.com but they never answered their phone to them so I could only get credit back. Avoid at all costs it’s not worth the sleepless night."

"Stayed here twice over last two weeks, first room great, clean, nice shower, slept well. Second time unfortunately different part of the hotel, window overlooked the courtyard with all the vents coming on and off theough the night quite noisy so didnt sleep well, and shower/tap had problems so not much power/went everywhere and bad Internet signal. Should have asked to have been moved!"

"Good room. Never saw the owner. A handy person let me and gave me the keys. Had a nice room and separate bathroom (very old school B&B). The house is under renovation but it didn't impact my stay at all. I'd stay again. Very close to everything. Couldn't say about parking as I used the metro. Loads of restaurant/cafe choices close by"
