Enjoy a relaxing stay in this 1 bed, 1 bath Victorian House directly on the Virginia side of Lake Gaston. Relax on the spacious front porch or walk down to flat dock for fishing, sunning and swimming. There is also a community area for some swimming, picnicking right across the street. If you’re looking to get out of the house, check out Rosemont Winery for a tasting or Shady Shack for karaoke.

Horrible stay

No heat in winter and no help getting either unit to function i had to dispute the charge because host didnt give the promised refund. I was in the unit 20 minutes total. She is a horrible host

Perfect Wedding Weekend

My fiance, now wife, stayed at Encounters at Lake Gaston for our wedding weekend. The place was perfect and allowed us to have a little escape from family and friends. We had rented both houses on this property and had family stay in the other house. The setup was perfect.

Very relaxing stay

The house was clean ,and well stocked with the usual items needed.nice porch to sit on,and a swing.parking is a bit tight,but manageable there is a beautiful dock,at the end of the property to fish from,we wete not sure,if we could use the canoes,paddle boards etc,as it was not described in listing,which was a little disappointing, so we didnt use them,otherwise it was very relaxing.make sure to shop before you arrive

Beautiful little cottage

Ac unit went out but got fixed next day. Front door need glaze can be seen thru. Property was very nice parking was tight but doable. Very nice little set up on the water doc was easily accessible
