Amazing beach front house!

This house is BEAUTIFUL! Directly on the beach with the pool and an awesome restaurant across the street. You can’t beat it! There was a minor issue with the washing machine on main floor. I let AMI Locals know and they were so quick to respond. Had it fixed in no time! Would love to stay here again!

The house was beautiful and we loved being on the water. I would stay there again. The only reason I didn’t rate it excellent was the dishwasher was broken for 3 days. The sink didn’t drain and garbage disposal was broke for 2 days. The elevator didn’t work but it wasn’t advertised. 3 lights were out in the outside pool area. One of the tvs didn’t work. The propane tank for the grill wasn’t filled. We filled it but the knob or something must have been cracked as we heard propane leaking and turned it off immediately so we couldn’t use the grill. I would think for all these problems a credit would be given

When we arrived the pool area was covered with sand and pool had handfuls of sand in it. There were beach chairs provided but most were not functional. Also we asked for extra blankets and I contacted host but never received the blankets. Also the picture of the outdoor area showed a table by the pool area by the grill. There wasn’t a table available to use which was an inconvenience when using the grill. Also garbage cans in the pool area would have been great. The house was very nice and spacious for our large family. It was very hard to contain the sand in the house due to the shower being on the opposite side of the house from the door. The location was good very close to several restaurants. Also we throughly enjoyed the parade for the July 4th holiday.

Nice, big, and convenient

Just as it looks online. Amazing pool, spa, views, and rooms. Beds were comfy too. I’m not a fan of all positive reviews as there is always something that could improve. As a group we discussed that two bathrooms needed a waste basket (we just used a shopping bag for a quick fix) Maintenance was great with replacing two light bulbs that were out just as we arrived. They were on top of it.

Worst rental ever! Non stop issues! Gross!

From the moment we got here, we had non stop issues. The front door code was incorrect. Upon entering the house you were immediately hit with a wave of mildew, mold and vomit smells. We tried to air the place out but the door alarms went off continuously even after hitting the bypass buttons. They did send someone over to fix that promptly. The floors were sticky, slimy and sandy. Again, they sent someone that night to clean. She found the dried vomit spot coming out of and around the beverage area on the main floor (don’t know how that was missed in the first place) & clean it & the floors which were better but the vomit smell persisted even after we cleaned area as well and remained for the rest of the trip. I will say the pool area is decent, even though both the pool and spa clearly needed to be cleaned. The access to and view of the beach is lovely and the reason we booked here originally. We stayed for thanksgiving and found it hard to cook for our large group as there were only 2 small pans and a cast iron skillet, two of which were rusted and dirty. The beds didn’t have mattress covers or flat sheets which is slightly annoying and the sheets on the main king room were so pilled I had to sleep inside the duvet cover itself as to not fight sleep all night. The bathrooms had rusty TP holders, drizzling faucets & missing towels. The worst though was the washing machine which destroyed 16 pieces of clothing & that still haven’t been compensated for. Do not stay here!

The house was amazing the level of cleanliness was not

The house itself was great. The people they have cleaning the house are horrible. The toilet in the master first flush clogged and was clogged for a day and half. The floors were gross our feet were black. The living room / kitchen floor had glass all over and we have small children and a baby. The property managers were responsive but for that kind of money I expect better.

Family Vacation

I'm very disappointed in this property. The location was good, and accommodated a large group. However, there were plenty of issues with this house. The code that was provided to us upon arrival did not work. Prier to booking this house, we inquired about the elevator. We were told that it was in working order, however when we arrived, it was not working and had not been working for awhile since their were furniture blocking it on the second floor. The back sliding door off the living/kitchen area was missing the lock. The house was filthy and needs a deep clean. Curtains were hanging off the curtain rod over the slider, ice maker did not dispense ice, mold on ceilings in bathrooms and sink would not drain water. The hot tub controls were hanging off the wall. The pool was filthy. The bottom tray in the dishwasher would fall when loaded with dishes. The tint on the windows was worn off, especially the windows in the showers.

Awesome property

We absolutely loved this property as it was wonderful for all of the family to be able to stay together and the beachfront was amazing! We were disappointed that the elevator still was not working as we had a person recovering from foot surgery and an elderly matriarch who both found the many stairs to be extremely difficult. Our only issue with cleanliness was that the floors seemed to have not been mopped in a while. Otherwise it was truly a wonderful experience! Thank you for everything!

Cleanliness

The house was beautiful, location was great and the beach was amazing! The managing company responsible for cleanliness of house, especially the kitchen and the dishes/glasses/flatware, needs to be trained better. Dishes were put away with food left on them, same with glasses. I needed to wash everything before first use to be sure it was clean. Also, dryer takes at least 2, if not 3, cycles to dry towels. Otherwise, we had a great vacation!

Beautiful property. Too many stairs.

Beautiful house, with incredible views. Garage fits 4-5 cars, plus 4 in driveway. Elevator not in use. Had to carry my handicapped friend up/down stairs. For older renters, this will be a problem. Mgt company is rude and robotic. They will not lift a finger to help…100% by the book.

Too many steps

The property was nice, but the elevator has been disabled purposely and there were four flights of steps to get to the third level where most bedrooms were. It was extremely difficult when carrying (dragging) heavy suitcases and supplies during our stay. The kitchen needed heavy cleaning as the stove, oven and hood were filthy. The ice dispenser is broken and the kitchen faucet fixture came off easily. The house is truly beautiful and the beach is great, but I can't give it a shining review because one of our elderly guests had to leave because of the lack of an elevator. If you needed to get upstairs it was another 2 flights of steps.

Beautiful beach front house

We really enjoyed our stay in this house. The heated pool and spa were perfect with convenient direct access to the beach. The management company was very quick to respond to all our questions and I would definitely stay again in one of their properties.

Spectacular beach house

This house is flawless. We spent 5 nights here and couldn’t have asked for more. The pictures don’t lie. The kitchen has everything you need, the bedrooms all have large tv’s, the pool and hot tub area easily handled our 10 kids. We have rented all over the country and this home is as nice as they come. Everyone in our party is looking forward to next time.

Overall the house was ideal for our 17 guests. Cleanliness was A+! House is on a busy street which made for noisy morning for bedrooms on that side. Great beach access and pool was a great asset for the kids.

Beachfront House

Accommodations were good although many steps. Pool was well maintained and heated. Small problem with ants in kitchen that was rectified. Also very rusty barbeque grill that had to be replaced.

Overall house is beautiful! Few items that could be added in the kitchen: oven mits /pot holders & Keurig. Great location, property manager was helpful in situation of elevator not in service. We found it helpful that there were 10 beach chairs, boogie boards, plenty of beach towels.
