「A very comfortable cottage, very close to nice places to discover (Dee riverside, Ballater, Loch Muick, etc.). Very quiet too, and a beautiful view on the mountains. Suggestion: the description of the cottage could be better with a photo and few words about the bathrooms.」

「Stunning wee "hut", very clean and cleverly stock with all your needs, superb communication lovely views and a wonderful variety of wild birds at feeder. For something different we would recommend.」

「Die Unterkunft liegt zentral und man kann von dort zu vielen tollen Unternehmungen starten. Tolle Landschaft, Castles und andere schöne Orte. Man kann direkt von der Unterkunft zum Cairn Leuchan hochwandern. Ballater ist ein sehr schöner Ort. 」

「This is the most peaceful place on earth. We stayed for too short of a time, but it was magical. The grounds, the island, the sheep and the comfortable home couldnt have been better. 」

「Super Unterkunft. Alles sehr sauber. Danke für das Willkommenspaket. Im oberen Bad fehlt die Beschriftung für Shampoo etc in der Dusche, im unteren Bad ist der Duschkopf leicht defekt. Eine Beschreibung für die Mülltrennung wäre gut, da man den Text auf den Mülltonnen teilweise nicht mehr lesen kann. Ansonsten alles top.」

「We stayed here (4 adults) and made Littleton Cottage our home base for several day trips in the Scottish Highlands. The cottage was well furnished, very clean and exquisitely appointed with lovely furnishings and good linens. A washing machine and clothes tumbler were so helpful since we’d been traveling for several days prior. 「We loved our stay! Had everything we needed. Only thing would have been bigger towels and different towels for using after the hot tub. But that’s just our preference not a complaint! Really enjoyed our time there」

「Wonderful cottage in a great location with which to explore the Cairngorms. The cottage itself was clean, bright, easy to find, and had everything you could need. Check in was easy and the owners were very helpful and communicative. Most everything you could need is in Ballater, a couple of miles away, including a grocery, petrol station, health center, and a number of restaurants and pubs. Walks are available right outside the door and only about a 20 minute drive to Lock Muick, which was...
