“It was clean. Reminded me of a 1980’s motel but it was certainly functional and economic. Easy access to Branson attractions.”

“The Retro was a nice place to stay. The only thing I would change would be to have another trash can under the table and put down something in the bottom of the tub. The bottom of the tub was very slick when trying to shower. It would have been nice to have some fruit and protein for breakfast. We had to go buy breakfast to get anything healthy. Overall was very nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful.”

“The close proximity to the Branson strip and small benefits were greatly outweighed by the awful humidity in our room. We were greeted by a dated appearance and musty smell right away, that should have been our sign to turn around. Everything else has been fine, the beds are pretty comfortable. The included breakfast was fine, and the room was clean.. but man, what a deal breaker is a humid room. We cooled it down to 68 degrees and everything was still sticky and moldy smelling. I'm not kidding……

“First of all. Don’t judge this hotel by the pictures on Expedia. There is a reason there are not many. The building and facilities are not updated or well maintained. If you’re looking for a cheap hotel where quality matches price. This is the place for you. If you stay here-do not use the cheaper non refundable rate that is offered. I made that mistake. Expedia doesn’t care that the pictures they allow on their listing doesn’t represent the actual hotel. The lobby and main floor……

“To keep it short I won’t go into a lot of detail, but overall for the price I paid on Expedia. This was a heck of a deal!! BREAKFAST: From what I read online, the breakfast was award-winning… I did not experience an award-winning breakfast but everything was hot and well tended. Honestly, I would give it a better rating if the coffee wasn’t so terrible but I had to outsource my coffee during our trip because the hotel coffee was awful. Also, there is no access to the lobby or the café until 7……
