“What a true diamond in the rough !! If you troll your VRBO prospects on google maps before making your selection, do not be fooled by the austere exterior of this offering . It is in a quiet Old Town neighborhood but only 3 blocks from “ downtown “. Wonderful watering holes and restaurants on every block . The unit has high ceilings , two large rooms that are perfectly functionally furnished and a more than adequate bath . I enjoyed my 3 night stay and will keep it on my short list . If you are……

“Upon arrival everything looked normal, but once we got inside there was a strong dog odor that never went away. Once we pulled the couch out to set it up, we realize it was COVERED in dog hair, had dog food all over the mattress, and came with a sheet already over it that was covered in stains. Safe to say we did not end up sleeping on that and had to cover the entire couch with sheets just to bare the odor. We had issues with the TV and wifi, so went without both for the entire trip and the AC……

“The host was responsive and welcoming. However, several things went wrong while we were there- the key to the front door wasn’t functioning and took a number of tries as while as communicating with the host. There was a step down to the bedroom and and to the kitchen where the bathroom is, making it difficult if you have to get up in the middle of the night. The bed was not the most comfortable and In the morning just as the coffee was 1/4 way brewed, the electricity went out. Don’t think……

“Loved this place! Stayed here for a nearly-month-long business trip. Excellent location with many restaurants and shops within walking distance. My wife and daughter came to visit and thoroughly enjoyed the easy access to downtown businesses and barrier Islands. High-end furnishings and linens helped me feel welcome and comfortable. Impeccably clean and the host was easy to work with. I actually extended my stay! Would definitely book again.”
