“There was nothing we didn't like about the Hotel. The whole hotel has had a massive upgrade / renovation and for the cost of the accommodation, it represents top value. We ate at the restaurant , ( reluctantly ) after reading some less favorable reviews , and decided the reviewers, who had left those reviews must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed. The food was delicious. The staff were really friendly , helpful, and seemed to care. If they didn't care they made a very good job of……

“Convenient location. Nice rooms. Courtyard is well shaded. Bathroom fans are very loud. Neighbors fan woke me up at 6:15.”

“Dirty unstaffed”

“It was during one of the high temperatures inEngland and tho it had two fresh air windows the host only allowed one. a small bathroom size window for ventilation plus a small fan. I asked him to open the other window / door but was denied seeming me to leave the property after one nite due to a high temp room . Host was not very helpful tho I asked to change rooms. Also no shade on deck . Would not stay here again .”

“Beautiful location, breakfast was delicious, parking was easy, room was so spacious and clean. Staff were so welcoming and friendly. ”

“Check in was easy and friendly, a lovely collie welcomed me into the yard as well! The Tack room was clean and comfortable and good for my brief stay. I hadn't appreciated how noisy the motorway would be and so had to close the windows in the bedroom to be able to get to sleep. Apart from that it would be a nice place to stay to explore the area. I was up very early in the morning, and it was perfect for my requirements.”

“It was an ideal stay for a short stay but I do feel that the rooms do need a bit of a revamp. I must say though, it was a very clean. Great service though and staff were very friendly. Thank you ☺️”

“We had a lovely stay at the lodge. The room was large and had plenty of storage. The bed was very comfortable and the curtains black out so a lovely lie in. We had an evening meal and breakfast the next day. Both meals were great, good portion sizes and value for money. All the staff we encountered were fantastic. Everyone was very chatty and interested in knowing where we were from and what we were in the area to do. We were hiking to some of the waterfalls, night kayaking, and zip lining, and……
