“Well...the online check-in process was ridiculous, we were asked on several occasions to upload selfies, having done them already, kept being told if we didn't then the booking would be cancelled. Then we arrived on a saturday 10 mins before 3pm check-in and were told room wasn't ready which was fair enough as we were a bit early. The bins were all full, no cups for a cup of tea. However....this went on until about 6pm, we were then told the cleaners hadn't actually turned up that morning and……

“A most pleasant and pleasing stay overall. Great location, clean and stylish. The only area needs improvement is check in time (4pm is too late) and no luggage storage prior to check in (especially when check in time is so late). ”

“Clean pleasant room that looked recently refurbished, with a kettle and microwave and a enough tea and coffee to survive a night and morning. A fridge and hairdryer was useful. Shower was good, stocked with shampoo and conditioner. Bathroom was clean. Otherwise it was basic but sufficient. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We had one set of neighbours who played very loud music all afternoon until late, but thankfully eventually stopped. At this (cold and wet) time of year the pub……

“This place was perfect for our trip to Bristol to visit friends. The apartment is really nicely done out, modern, cosy and had everything we needed! Also really easy to get into the centre of Bristol. ”

“Very spacious and clean with an outside patio with a great view of the busy harbour. Lots of shops/bars restaurants and activities for all ages in walking distance.”

“Excellent stay in the 2 bedroom garden flat. Accommodation deserves its high hotels.com rating. Parking was included through hotels.com but I would have been annoyed if asked to pay thei advertised fee per night where there's clearly sufficient parking for one car per apartment. ”

“Max was a wonderful host, very communicative and responsive, and the apartment was absolutely beautiful! We loved the original Georgian details such as wooden folding window blinds, and the more modern touches like the terrific cheetah and flamingo print wallpapers in the bedrooms.”
