“We attended an event at the convention center and decided to book a hotel the evening prior to the convention. All other hotels were out of rooms so we stumbled across this one. “Loved the quirkiness of the property. Everything was pink. Our room was decorated as a Freda room. We came to Richmond to see the Freda exhibit. The staff were extremely friendly & helpful. “The Hotel Staff was nice and the beds were very comfortable, however the top portion of the freezer was frost bitten and wouldn't close. My sister is diabetic and needed to freeze her medicine. We called the front desk, but nothing happened until she spoke to the manager. Maintenance did come right away. However, because the refrigerator door didn't close the night before, all of the ice melted before hand. Management was willing to switch out the refrigerator. ”
