Beautiful Cottage

Rex Cottage is a beautiful cottage, in a stunning location - what you would imagine to be a true Cotswolds Village a stones throw from Broadway. The Cottage is extremely comfortable, very well Equipped. This was our 2nd Stay at Rex Cottage and we are looking forward to our next visit. I would highly recommend.

Utterly fab!

We had the most wonderful time at Rex Cottage, it was so comfortable and well-equipped. Plenty of room for four adults, and the woodturner made the place really cosy. The surrounding area is great for walking, and pottering around beautiful villages and towns - we'll be back!

Wonderful Cottage

Stayed here with my Mum for a few days. This was a fabulous place to stay. Like a home from home. Everything you could need. Downstairs bedroom with en-suite was perfect for my elderly Mum. We loved this place and would definitely recommend and we will be staying again !

Gorgeous cottage situated in a beautiful location. Didn’t disappoint and was perfect for the weekend

Very clean and had loads provided in the kitchen and games etc for the family. Great communication with the owner on everything you wanted to know . Two local pubs to have meals or drinks in. Very quiet too. Close to things to do for days out. Was perfect.

Three night retreat after lovely hiking days

It’s a lovely and comfortable home in a quiet village. Enjoyed retreating here away from the busier Towns. The neighbors are SO nice. Beds are great, baths are also. We did not cook, but kitchen seems very well stocked. Lots of charm.

Great location

Really enjoyed our stay here. The area is beautiful and a perfect location to explore all the nearby villages in North Cotswolds. The house was nice and had a lot of charm. Plenty of room for our family and a nice outdoor patio area. The only things I would say negatively is that it could use a deep cleaning, especially the kitchen. And the toilet seat in the master bedroom bath was broken. And a few extra supplies like TP, paper towels and trash bags would have been nice.Overall though we had a nice time here and would recommend for a stay in Cotswolds.

Amazing Cotswolds Cottage

We absolutely adored our time at Rex Cottage. It was the perfect size for our party of 5 (4 adults + a 16-month old) and had room comfortably for 2 more people if needed. The cottage itself was so cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were comfy, the living room and fireplace couldn’t have been better for the cold evenings, and Willersey was a great base point to explore so many of the other Cotswold towns. Would definitely recommend having a car, it would be very difficult to get around without one. Andrea was incredible, so responsive before and throughout our stay. We were traveling with a little one and she made us feel so comfortable before our arrival and the house was even fitted with some kids cutlery and had a travel crib available for use (we brought our own but the fact they had one was very reassuring in case something happened to ours during transit). Couldn’t recommend Rex Cottage more. The only thing to note, and others have mentioned, is that the ceilings are very low in some rooms so if you are a taller person, there would be a couple rooms you would have to stoop to stand in. It didn’t bother us at all, but was something we noticed. Thank you Rex Cottage and Andrea for such an incredible experience out in the Cotswolds!

Idyllic Cotswold Base

I booked Rex Cottage as a weekend away for my mother’s 70th, with four of us plus a baby. We couldn’t have been more happy with the house. It’s pretty, well located and much more spacious than it appears in the photos! It’s very well equipped with everything you could need and the courtyard is a gorgeous little sun trap. We loved it and would happily stay again in future. The village itself is pretty and quiet but very close to the even prettier and livelier Broadway. It was easy with a car to get to wherever we wanted to go in the Cotswolds. One small thing that would have improved things for me: the house is old and therefore has some low ceilings. This was very well communicated and the doorways were all well signposted. However, in the back bathrooms the lampshades seem designed to compound the problem - hanging low and further reducing space, meaning I hit my head badly a couple of times as a tallish chap. Replacing these with down lights or at least less viciously shaped features would be a tiny improvement that would make the place 100% perfect :)
