「Hygiene needs to be improved」

「The website is very misleading: they stated there would be breakfast and breakfast consisted of juice or coffee and a granola bar. The halls smelled of burnt fish curry (that’s the closest thing I can think of to describe the smell). I was charged $100 on top of the cost of the room for a deposit. The room was damaged in several places including no smoke alarms (I thought that was required by law!). I took pictures so that I was not charged for the damages, I informed the desk clerk and was told...

「This is not a 3 start Hotel. They don’t clean your room while you are there does not matter how many days. No new towels or toilet papers if you don’t ask or go get it… a lot of bugs」

「Definition of a roach motel. Muddy boot marks in the bathroom. Silverfish in bathroom. Bathtub doesn't drain and knots of hair on tile walls/drain. Roach motel and a half. No late checkout - they charge $7 per 30min u leave past checkout. It's THAT kind of motel.」

「This property is thoughtfully laid out and great for a large group or family. It's clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The four rooms are large, with plenty of beds. Loved the kitchen layout. It's close to all the great attractions in downtown San Antonio. Any questions I had were always answered in a timely manner by the staff. Would definitely stay here again if the occasion arises. It had everything we needed for a home away from home.」
