All good. We are both disabled, so parking and entering the hotel from rear entrance is perfect, we've stayed several times,and always satisfied.

This is a super hotel, pleasantly decorated in a "beach hotel" theme. Fantastic situation overlooking Cullen bay. Staff exceptionally pleasant and efficient. Food excellent

What a view
The hotel has has a bit of a makeover in the rooms and they are very good the food is amazing and the prices are a bit lower than the were on a previous stay staff were friendly and provided excellent service the only slight fault in my stay was the room curtains do not cover the window and the two large lights in the car park make it difficult to sleep with the amount of light coming into this particular room. other than that it was a great stay to be recomended to others

Lovely staff and a great location opposite the bay. Didn't manage to get one of the rooms overlooking the bay but enjoyed an excellent meal in their restaurant with the views.

Really pleasant - will be back
We had a really pleasant stay at Cullen, the area is beautiful and we were able to go for excellent walks from the hotel. The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful and always had time for us. We didn’t choose a room with a view but when you have the great view for breakfast and dinner this was fine for us. The room had everything we needed and though a small twin the way it was laid out gave us lots of space and for the price we paid we were impressed. We will be back, there is more to explore.

This hotel is looking very "tired" and the exterior could be more attractive. Although the evening menu was fine for fisheaters, most of the other options were "OK" and limited for the price charged. The shower did not work on arrival day although this was remedied within the hour (too late for our dinner booking though!) Had a memorable visit some years ago, but was slightly disappointed in the property,

Rooms very small and there was very little space around the double bed. Two senior members of staff seemed to be the only ones able to make any decisions and the young girls who made up the rest of the staff were polite and eager to help, but didn’t seem to know what to do.

Great location...
Lovely location, walkable into Cullen. Staff very friendly, and tasty breakfast. We had a delicious evening meal too.

Stayed in Room 12 which had a wonderful sea view - really quite special. Hotel in April was kept warm throughout.

Very satisfied.
Stunning views over the coast, even with Northern Lights! Room comfortable. WiFi worked well on the first day in the room, but then didn't work for the rest of the days. Breakfast was great! Staff very friendly.

Had a great stay. Staff very friendly warm and welcoming. Had a seaview room and the view was stunning. Lovely big room. Breakfast was excellent and red hot🙂

Beautiful hotel with amazing views. We stayed two nights and loved that fact it’s pet friendly. Check in - nice and easy. Really friendly young man behind the reception desk. Very helpful. Evening meal - We ate in the main bar (pet friendly) on the first night. Same guy that was on reception was working behind the bar. Him and his female colleague very attentive. Found the price a little expensive, I had scampi just under £20 for 5 bits of monkfish scampi and fresh home cooked chips. Partner has fish pie. Cheese, whisky and oatcakes around £10 was again expensive but we’re away for a well earned break so we relaxed and enjoyed. Breakfast - lovely both mornings. Nice member of staff. Lunch - Cullen Skink soup was lovely. Room - nice, clean and a good size. Bathroom with walk in shower, perfect. The shower was noisy but a good shower. Now the only downside The walls are thin. We heard the folk on the room next to use talking. They checked out and a new couple stayed the Saturday night. They had a domestic, tv loud, swearing and arguing. This woke me at 1245 and continues for what felt like hours, someone then left the room but arrived back and continued to argue. When we checked out we mentioned this to be told we should’ve went down and complained. I sure as hell wasn’t going out my room at 2am. They would’ve known it was us. Over all - lovely hotel. Would go back and will book again sometime soon.

Great location
Overall we had a good stay and the staff were mostly very helpful. The hotel location is excellent with outstanding views. We were in the “best” room in the hotel which was fairly spacious with an excellent outlook but the furnishings were a bit IKEA in style. The seats in the turret area were not at all comfortable. We had a concerning issue with the cold water. On the second evening it ran a very dirty brown grey. I reported it to the young lady in the bar as no one else was around and she offered a jug of water but even that had a heavy chlorinated taste. Although we were asked about it at breakfast by the lady and she intimidated it had been reported to the manager no one seemed particularly concerned even though prior to that we had used the same source to drink and fill kettle etc. This was a bit of a concern. We ate one evening in the hotel. The food was fine and the views again fantastic but it is pricey and the restaurant has no real atmosphere and is very barren and echoey. The hotel has great potential but could certainly do a bit more to create a better experience

Lovely staff, clean room
Lovely staff, clean room. Only thing I would say was the room we had had a really small bathroom that looked like it was in a cupboard. Was an old building and could maybe do with being modernised with some paint but overall a lovely stay.

Good points were the food the view and friendly staff, but beds were very soft and springs protruding through mattress, lumpy pillows , and dust all over skirtings ,the en suite was smallest I’ve ever came across in a hotel not good value for condition of a dated hotel
