Bed in double room was very comfy
Kitchen was well stocked
Cons -
Chalet smelt very damp and musty
Daughter slept on sofa due to strong smell in twin room
Handles missing on some windows so couldn’t be opened .
Marks and stains on twin bedroom wall, little table and sofa .
No hot water connected to bathroom basin.
Bathroom needs deep clean
Bathroom door lock doesn’t work
Had to buy towels as chalet ones smelt after 1 use
Twin bedroom door sticks daughter couldn’t get out
No mobile……
“Lovely big and clean room. Mini fridge had cold water and some milk to use with the Nespresso machine. Bathroom was clean and the shower was great. The welcome and ambience were excellent. The food was superb. The view was outstanding. I wholly recommend staying and dining here.”
“Stephen was a wonderful host showing us our room on arrival and explaining arrangements there.
Room 3 was extremely well appointed with our own entrance and outdoor space. The small kitchen area included a microwave great for a cosy meal in. The continental breakfast was amazing and really set you up for the day.
Set in quiet countryside outside Bideford with easy access to local attractions and exploring the countryside.
A really relaxing break for us and would definitely recommend staying……

Beautifully appointed with amenities, hairdryer, heaters, coolers, tea coffee biscuits etc. Easy access to great walks, shops at Bideford etc”

They offer a packed lunch for the next day which is definitely needed for the walk from Hartland way to Bude! ”

“The setting of this BnB is absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was perfect nothing fancy just exactly what you need, we specifically enjoyed the homemade rhubarb compote! The room was part of a converted barn and really cosy. The host was lovely. ”
