"Just okay" place with stairs
The unit was alright. Nothing too fancy, but nothing too bad either. Comfortable beds. Uncomfortable couch (a futon). Had all the necessities (shampoo, soaps, coffee, etc). Some of the towels were wet when we arrived though (seemed clean but not fully dried in dryer). The biggest downside was that the listing didn't make it clear that this is a second floor unit, and the stairs to get up to it were very skinny and slippery (vinyl). Our dog had a very hard time getting up them and we would not have booked the place had we known about it being a second floor unit. The neighborhood wasn't great either, but not terrible. Overall it was an okay place to stay, knowing that we spent most of our time outside of the unit exploring buffalo. Communication with the property owners/managers was also confusing. I spoke to 3 different people, all acting as the property managers. Two seemed to be through a property management company - not sure who the 3rd was but they were the most responsive. All of them tried to get me to sign up through an external platform to get all the check-in information, but thankfully they eventually sent the info over VRBO message.
