“This is a lovely Victorian house that has been remodeled with lots of love and care. What makes it really special are the gardens and fireplace area which are listed on the annual Tonawanda Garden Tour. Definitely worth the visit just for that. “For our purposes, this worked great. We were riding our bikes along the empire state trail from Buffalo to New York. We stayed here two days at the beginning of the trip to prepare for the ride and then one day at the end of the trip before we went home. Clean and comfortable, seems to be a safe and quiet neighborhood, close everything we needed it to be close to. My only criticism would be that the description does not mention that it’s a second floor unit over an apartment below. It does say……

“We were a family of 6 adults in town for a wedding. This older house provided everything we needed to be comfortable and ready for the weekend. “We didn’t stay and left. This property is a joke. Issues with heat and the property owner never responded. Trash on the side walk (dirty diapers), dog poop on the side walk, sticky floors, blood stained pillows and mattresses. Don’t stay here!”

“We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Nook has a lot of character and is comfortable...especially the bed. Also close to many restaurants and the Niagara River which has a beautiful walking path and reasonable bike rentals. Our hosts, Nino, Derrick and the team have been terrific.
