"As of May ‘26, the hotel seems to have a fair bit of construction ongoing. Room was exceptionally overly hot on an already warm day and due to scaffolding up the outside of the building, the openable windows have been permanently closed with plexi glass. This meant that there was no way to get any fresh air in the room and it became very stuffy. I assume the AC is part of the renovation as this was not operational and the controls had been covered over with a board. There was only 1 of 3 lift working during the visit which meant waiting a long time during busy periods.
All the above is a shame as the location is great, the staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel was comfy, clean and had a lot of amenities."
