"They allowed us to check in early. We were traveling internationally and appreciated to check in early to freshen up prior to dinner. Friendly staff, clean, comfortable. Quick walk to local markets and historical downtown."

"Most comfortable hostel I've stayed in so far. The pod-like bed felt more private than other hostels I've stayed at. The showers were also more spacious, I could hang my purse etc. in the shower stall with me without it getting wet. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is incredible on the Royal Mile. Would stay again if I return to Edinburgh."

"Perfect location across the street from Waverly train station and near closes for easy climb to Royal Mile. Staff were warm and friendly, especially Cass at the front desk. Highly recommend signing on for breakfast! The buffet has massive choices. Beds and pillows so comfy."

"Great little inexpensive place, not even a mile from Edinburgh Castle and so many other notable places. The staff here were amazing. I had a medical emergency and as a traveler it was a little concerning. Gary was very empathetic went above and beyond, helping me find the nearest pharmacy after a virtual MD appointment. I would recommend this Ibis location to any travelers, domestic or foreign."
