Amazing views, large terrace and garden.

This cottage is a cottage near the forest and close to all amenities. You enjoy the view and a fabulous atmosphere, birds singing and the sound of water from the waterfall below the flower garden ... make it an ideal place for rest and relaxation. This stone cottage, has 2 bedrooms, a nice bathroom with a large walk-in shower, a living room with a comfortable sofa and TV (French channels) and wifi, a kitchen with a large bay window opening a large terrace with a beautiful view which is the great strength of this house. Romantic, decor is studied for a soft and cozy atmosphere. Calheta Beach is 4 km and the first levada is 1 km walk through a path winding through the eucalyptus forest.

Séjour dans le gite Éden

Nous avons passé presque 3 semaines dans le gîte Éden, chez Nathalie et Patrice et ce fut un superbe séjour ! L’emplacement est idéal, sur les hauteurs avec une vue magnifique depuis la terrasse du gîte, le jardin ou la piscine. Le gîte est très confortable et décoré avec goût. Il est très facile de visiter toute l’île depuis cette base. Nathalie et Patrice sont très accueillants et nous ont donné de très bons conseils de visites, de balades et de restaurants. Je recommande sans réserve !

Wir haben den Aufenthalt im Jardin des Anges sehr genossen. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse über die Hügel bis zum Meer ist faszinierend. Der Garten ist einfach ein Traum, eine Explosion von Farben und Düften. Im Haus gibt es alles, was man braucht. Die Einrichtung ist originell, eine gelungene Kombination von alt und neu.

Gemütliche Unterkunft mit tollem Ausblick

Das Häuschen hatte eine tolle Lage, einen wunderschönen Ausblick und war gut ausgestattet. Leider waren im Haus Mäuse, die durch die Küche und das Wohnzimmer liefen. Man konnte dadurch nicht entspannt sitzen, da die Kleinen Bewohner dann aus ihrem Versteck kamen. Ein großes Manko bei einem sonst sehr schönen Haus. Der Ofen ist sehr klein und eher ein Tischofen. Jeden Morgen gegen 9.00h kommen verschiedene Bäcker mit dem Auto vorbei und man kann Brot und Brötchen kaufen. Leider hatten wir die ersten Tage kein Wlan. Die Vermieterin jedoch war sehr nett und bemühte sich, sodass wir die letzten zwei Tage noch InternetZugang hatten. Kommunikation läuft hauptsächlich auf Französisch.

Super base pour rayonner su l'île

Maison très chaleureuse et calme; vue superbe avec soleil toute la journée. Capital d'être sur la côte sud de l'ile lors de votre séjour; au nord la météo est radicalement différente niveau ensoleillement. Sandrine et ses parents sont supers sympas, nous aurions aimés accepter leur inviatation à boire un punch au café le Look All A Calheta mais nous étions cuits ce soir là après marche et voiture. Geographiquement idéalement placé pour aller aux différents endroits intéressants de l'ile. Nous recommandons vivement cette location. De plus on a super bien dormi, aucune nuisance sonore ce qui pour des gens de la ville est un grand luxe. Bises à toute la famille et merci pour votre gentillesse. PS: Mention spéciale pour la confiture de mangues que Lisette avait offerte à l'accueil avec pain d'épices et même des biéres dans le frigo ! Olivier & Philippe

Accueil très chaleureux et sympathique, notre découverte de l'Ile a été parfaite. Logement idéalement situé, au calme, décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse, entre autre, est un vrai bonheur. Allez-y !

Beautiful, quiet place for relaxation and outdoor activities

The house is located on a beautiful, very local and quiet area of Calheta. It is way up the hill, so views are spectacular but you need a car as walking to store, cafes, restaurants is too much given the altitude. The place was really clean, modern, with beautiful garden. Kitchen is compact with quite limited supply of equipment but enough if you are not planning to make five course meals during your stay. There is nearby Levada trail if you start walking upwards to the mountain. Recommend taking that, despite the initial climbing it is worth it.
