Très belle maison spacieuse avec un extérieur idyllique piscine avec vue sur la mer terrasse et coin repas très bien conçu entouré de verdure. Le paradis ! Seul bémol la route un peu passante en dessous. Térésa est très disponible et charmante (il faudra penser à renouveler la vaisselle : les assiettes ne rentrent pas dans le lave vaisselle et la poêle a bien vécu) cette maison est très bien placée pour visiter cette île incroyable. Vous en prenez plein les yeux. Les paysages sont sublimes. On rentre à regret avec de merveilleux souvenirs

Belle maison, attention à l'entretien générale

La piscine n'est pas chauffée en début de séjour, pompe à chaleur en panne au moins depuis 2022 d'après les commentaires précédents mais la pompe a enfin été remplacée.Plusieurs éclairages intérieurs et extérieurs ne fonctionnent pas

Weihnachten auf Madeira

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Geräumiges Haus, sauber und tolle Aussicht auf das Meer. Leider nur ein Handtuch pro Badezimmer und ein Duschtuch pro Person. Wenig Tassen und Teller für 5 Personen. Sehr kleine Geschirrspülmaschine. Der beheizte Pool hatte leider nur 15 Grad. Seit Oktober 2024 wird auch eine Kurtaxe in Höhe von 2,- Euro pro Tag und Person erhoben. Maximal für 7 Tage. Das waren für uns 70,- Euro. Das wurde uns leider erst 3 Tage vor Ankunft mitgeteilt. Das sind alles Kleinigkeiten, die man aber leicht und einfach verbessern könnte.

Wunderschönes Haus mit kleinen Abstrichen

Wir hatten an sich eine wunderbare Zeit in diesem Haus... Allerdings war die Kommunikation mit Teresa quasi nicht vorhanden. Nach der ersten Nachricht, dass wir einchecken können hat sie unsere Nachrichten konsequent ignoriert und wir haben die komplette Zeit nichts mehr von ihr gehört - das war sehr schade. Die Poolheizung war nicht an und somit hatte das Wasser nur knappe 20 Grad und zu kalt zum schwimmen. Leider wurde auch diese Nachfrage komplett ignoriert. Die Ausstattung könnte etwas besser sein, es waren z.B. nur 4 Tassen und 2 Weingläser vorhanden... es gab keine Badvorleger und pro Person nur 1 Handtuch. An sich keine Große Sachen aber mit ein paar Kleinigkeiten wäre der Besuch perfekt gewesen.

A louer sans hésitation

Excellente location. Trés bien située, très bien équipée, très propre. Teresa est très disponible et tres réactive. Je recommande cette location et y retournerai volontiers.

Sehr schönes, sauberes und gut ausgestattetes Haus. Alles wie beschrieben und online dargestellt. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen einwöchigen Urlaub hier. Unterkunft kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.

Très chouette sejour

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans la boat house. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et avenants, réactifs rapidement également. La maison correspondait tout à fait à la description excepté l eau de la piscine qui était indiquée comme étant chauffée et qui ne l était pas… déception car nous avions choisi cette maison pour cet avantage et n avons pas pu nous baigner car elle était gelée. La machine était apparemment défectueuse. A part cela tout était parfait. La maison est propre et spacieuse et possède toutes les commodites nécessaires et l emplacement est idéal. Proche des plages, commerce, restaurants. Il faut cependant la voiture pour tout déplacement.

A great stay with spectacular views

Lovely villa with plenty of space and a couple of handy bars/restaurants nearby. We especially loved the outdoor space - private pool was fantastic, as was the outdoor kitchen. Only problem was it made it hard to tear ourselves away to explore this beautiful island!

Vielen Dank für einen großartigen Urlaub

Die perfekte Location, einfach alles hat gestimmt: wunderbarer Pool, sehr sauberes, voll eingerichtete Haus, das alle Bequemlichkeiten bietet, die man braucht, freundliche, diskrete Gastgeber (insgesamt sind für mich die Portugiesen wohl das angenehmste und freundlichste Volk Europas), es war der perfekte Urlaub! Unbedingt weiterzuempfehlen!!!

Jolie maison avec piscine et cuisine d’extérieur avec vue !

Nous avons passé un bon séjour dans cette maison. Elle est grande et conforme aux photos et descriptions. Étant 2, nous avons eu le choix pour la chambre oú nous dormions. La piscine et cuisine d’extérieur avec barbecue sont appréciables ! La vue du jardin est vraiment jolie. L’accès à la maison et la récupération des clés (laisser ouverte et clés sur la porte) rend l’arrivée simple et autonome. La localisation est très bien pour rayonner aux alentours en voiture pour les différentes randonnées. Proche en voiture de commerces pour faire des courses ou restaurants. Seuls points à prendre en compte : - travaux pas loins mais peu bruyants - au bord de la route donc on entend les voitures passer et la sortie du garage est sportive. - piscine « chauffée » l’est en fait par le soleil donc plus ou moins chaude en fonction de la période et du temps dehors - odeur de renfermé/ humidité dans la maison surtout niveau cuisine - portes du garage qui ne ferment pas

Wir hatten eine schöne Woche im Haus. Leider war der Pool trotz Heizung zu kalt. Die Lage ist okay ein Auto ist unbedingt erforderlich. Teresa ist super nett und immer erreichbar. Grundsätzlich würden wir das Haus weiterempfehlen.

Amazing place

We had a great week at the boat house. Lovely sea views, fantastic heated swimming pool, very comfortable and clean house, plenty of space inside and outside. In an ideal location to visit the island. We would love to come back!

Amazing sunsets!

We loved our stay here. There were a few tiny things that were not perfect, but it didn't affect our stay. Loved the swimming pool and it has an amazing view with gorgeous sunsets! The island is fantastic and we will definitely be back!

Sehr schönes, liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus

Wir verbrachten hier unseren 2-wöchigen Familien-Sommerurlaub. Das Haus entsprach sehr genau der Beschreibung, alles war sauber und funktionstüchig, sowie praktisch, detailliert und liebevoll ausgestattet und eingerichtet. Auf dem Grundstück sind 4 Terrassen-Ebenen. Das Grundstück befindet sich an einer Hauptstraße in Arco da Calheta, Verkehrsgeräusche sind daher unvermeidbar. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern verlief vor Ort gut. Fragen und Probleme klärten wir per Anruf oder Whatsapp, unkompliziert und kurzfristig. Lediglich auf Beantwortung unserer Fragen vor der Anreise mussten wir länger warten. Danke für die nette Aufnahme an Teresa und ihre Familie!

Perfect place for our family to stay. Comfortable with all the amenities

We loved it! We were looking for a place that wasn’t in the main city Funchal in order to see everyday Madeira. Casa Do Barco is easy to reach by car and is surrounded by the small grocery shops, bars and restaurants used by the locals. The house has an enclosed courtyard and has terraces on three levels, all of them in the sun and with wonderful wide views over to the sea. The swimming pool is set amidst green grass and was warm, 28degC by the end of our stay. The house has all mod cons and the kitchen was equipped to feed us all every night. It was so nice just to eat on the terrace with a glass of local wine, we didn’t need to visit restaurants. All in all we had a wonderful holiday and we thoroughly recommend people to stay at Casa Do Barco.

Lovely villa

We had a perfect relaxing break . Teresa is the perfect host ,she met us at the villa on arrival .The villa is stylish,spotless clean and comfortable.Lots of space in and around the outside,very private,good equipped with everything you might need,good size the pool and amazing views .Just 10 mins by car to market and restaurants but we nearly everyday used bbq . Would recommend to anyone thinking of renting it !! Thank you very much Teresa for lovely stay .We hope to see you again soon ...
