Amazing Sea Views!

This property exceeded all our expectations! The house and outside space with negative edge pool were all beautiful. We loved being away from the crowded city and enjoying the peaceful beauty of Madeira. We arrived in the middle of the night. The 6 of us with luggage were driven comfortably by pre-arranged transport to the property about an hour away. We rented cars in nearby Calheta for the week the next day and dropped them at the airport when departing Madeira. Driving on the roads in Madeira is not for the faint hearted but we did fine. There was a very nice grocery store in Calheta to obtain groceries for the week. The kitchen was well outfitted for preparing meals together. We even did wood fired chicken on the grill in the outdoor kitchen. There are Levadas for hiking nearby, great Lighthouse views, close to Porto Moniz & Seixal, and the Fanal Forest. It was so nice to have a comfortable place to watch the sunsets. We had a great week and are so happy we chose this property. An Island Apart was exceptional to do business with!
