“I decided to stay here as a gift to myself for Mother’s Day weekend with my dog.We had a great time!So easy to check in,close to stores such as groceries etc,and the nature trail I wanted to take my pet to was 10 minutes away.I would just say be aware of staying here in the warmer months.I had a few bug friends when I got in the hot tub but they didn’t bother me.I will definitely be coming back!”

“We fell in love with the space from the moment we drove in. It is everything we want for ourselves someday. Donnie was friendly, helpful, and generous. The creek was really high the first 2 days we were there; the area got a lot of rain just a couple of days before we arrived. And although the days were hot, the evenings were cool and amazing. There were cool mushrooms on site, mallard ducks and damselflies that visited us, and another elusive visitor at night. Watching him and his family……

“The house was beautiful! It was in a great location right on the river. The pool was great, very clean. We had one issue with the water not getting hot in the upstairs bathroom. Terry did send someone the same day, but it still didn’t get hot after he left. But the shower downstairs worked very well, so we all used that one. Overall it was a great stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone! Especially if you have a boat for the river.”

“This place is amazing, falling asleep listening to the running water and wild turkeys is the best. The shower is great never runs out of hot water. This is by far the best place to stay if you love nature. The host is great and easy to get a hold of. We just booked for a week in September. Just love it.”

“...and then some. My family and I had such a memorable stay. Every inch of the home was packed with the sights, sounds and smells of our childhood. The house is cozy, comfortable and immaculate. One note: there is only one ac unit but plenty of fans were provided. Melanie is a very gracious host and accessible. The location was perfect for our weekend activities but honestly the best times were spent in the house, taking it all in and hours on chatting on the porch. We will definitely return!”
