Cozy 2-bedroom apartment with AC, WiFi in charming Detroit
10/10 Excellent
"Everything was extremely clean . The host & wife were very helpful and very nice during our mishap but handled everything perfectly and in a timely manner as best they could . Highly recommend this property & again it’s EXTREMELY CLEAN . I’m putting emphasis on that because I’ve been to plenty rentals who don’t care . I appreciated their patience . 10/10"
"Everything went smooth from check-in to check-out. Great location, nice neighborhood. Access to several surrounding stores and markets. Host was great with responding. I would actually stay here again. No complaints just a few suggestions "
"Spacious home for our group of 10 to stay for our trip to the Ford plant, museum, and Greenfield Village. Upon arrival Derrick met us to show us the house. Lots of amenities and comfortable beds. Everything was clean and well kept on the inside. Plenty of parking space in the back. Heads up on the neighborhood, maybe get your groceries before you go. We were there on a Wednesday and Thursday night. All was quiet and street was patrolled. "
Glamorous Green Beauty in the Heart of University District 15min to Downtown
8/10 Good
"The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful, and the home was pretty comfortable (it’s an older home, but well-kept). As the home is older, we had some plumbing issues but the host was prompt in calling a handyman to have the toilet fixed. It’s important to note that there is only 1 full bathroom in the home and 1 half-bath. Would have been helpful see that listed in the description, as we were 2 families sharing the home."
Gather Around the Mid-century Table at a Tranquil Haven
8/10 Good
"The place was really charming and just right for our stay. The property management Co and host made the check-in process very easy and convenient. The neighborhood was rich is history and the home itself is part of its story. The beautiful Italian style Catholic school really made everything so beautiful and it was fascinating learning how the rental property once belonged to the sisters of the parish.
Cons: the bathroom didn’t have an exhaust fan and the window did not appear operational. We didn’t want to try too hard to open it because they were original to the home (100 years old). Second, the window blinds in bedroom 1 don’t block any light and at 6:15 every morning the whole room was bright as day. I definitely recommend a sleep mask if light wakes you up. "
