Beautiful property. Private, well maintained, modern, beautiful. Upon arriving, discovered that hot tub (main reason for renting) was at 82 degrees. Called. No answer. Left voicemail. Then emailed and got an email back saying that the whole tub had to be drained to be cleaned for our arrival. So hot tub out for night 1 of 2. Then discovered that no TVs worked in the home. Again, no call, just email correspondence. No apology for either hot tub or TVs. Was instructed via email to unplug TVs for 30 seconds, then plug in. Then instructed to reset breaker box in basement. So this is what I spent the first hour or so doing of our stay. Didn't fix anything. We arrived at about 5--they emailed that someone would be out tomorrow to fix the TVs. Then the next day, huge storms came through and downed a tree across the driveway and knocked out power to the house and many in the area. Totally understand this. But I received no call, just an email that I happened to check on my phone as we were pulling in. They didn't check anything--I had to tell them the power was out. Guy was sent with a machete to cut the tree, waiting for chainsaw team. And this was about 6 p.m. AS far as TV situation, turns out this was the guy they had 6 p.m.....with two new remotes (this does nothing to fix HDMI boxes that are nonfunctional). So nobody had been sent to "fix" the TVs before 6 p.m. And no call. No power. Asked for a credit. Was told they would give me one (I had just asked as I was looking for a hotel 4th of July weekend)--response was "here's your credit, lock code will be changed in 45 minutes" Seriously. No calls. Not one. No apologies. And basically told to get out in 45 minutes.
