"Plumbing was a challenge because couldn’t wash dishes without boiling water and didn’t want to wash ourselves or brush our teeth with the smelly water. Also, the propane only lasted 2 days; was dead on 3rd day (probably because of boiling water). We enjoyed the solitude, even though the road noise is present. All in all it was a pleasant couple days as we lucked out with beautiful weather."

"We arrived Friday May 24th 2024 at around 6:30ish. Has been awhile since I’ve been in New York State. No cell service and it wasn’t until I signed back into VRBO that I received instructions how to get into the cabin. Cabin is absolutely gorgeous. As others commented about the smell of smoke, well yeah, there is a wood stove. I heat my mountain home with wood, smelled of home. We brought our lovely lady along with us, she is 9 years old, she isn’t a fan of the flooring lucky we brought her bed....

"Delightful rural setting that is close to a ton of activities. We were there for a wedding at Letchworth State Park, and the experience was wonderful. Our VERY late arrival and our inability to unlock the door meant we had to contact the owner. They are super responsive and wonderful to work with. I can't recommend this place highly enough."

As others commented about the smell of smoke, well yeah, there is a wood stove. I heat my mountain home with wood, smelled of home. We brought our lovely lady along with us, she is 9 years old, she isn’t a fan of the flooring lucky we brought her bed. Suggestion - put a lock on the screen door off the covered deck, would have loved to had both doors opened for a breeze. When we decided to be back in that neck of the woods again, we will be calling to see if the cabin is available. Thank you"
