“The hotel is in a secluded location, which is exactly what we were looking for. There is only one restaurant, but they offer enough variety for the four nights we stayed. The bungalows offer great privacy in beautiful grounds surrounded by the forest, and there are loads of fauna sighting opportunities.”

“Amazing experience. The grounds were so lush and beautiful. The restaurant was also great- fairly priced and quick. Drinks were soooo delicious. Also overlooks the lush trees and even saw monkeys from here!! Another highlight is the staff. Specifically Kenneth in the bar and Isaac at the restaurant. So friendly, welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. This is less of a resort feel and more mountain cabin, but still has really great perks like the jacuzzi - we went in every night. Amazing spot!”

“A beautiful mountain setting surrounded by nature and hordes of hummingbirds. We saw a trop of 15-20 Coati on the ride in one evening and dozens of hummingbirds at breakfast every morning. The staff is gracious and friendly and always willing ti held with a reservation for a local excursion to the Coffee/Chocolate Plantations or the Adventure parks in the area. our visit was truly outstanding!”

“We had an amazing time at Casa Del Rio. The staff were very friendly at check-in and during our stay. We enjoyed the different pools and the fun waterslide. The villa we stayed in was very comfortable and spacious and we really enjoyed having a grill on the deck and being able to self-cater some nights. The staff was extremely helpful, providing many suggestions and helping us book tickets for different excursions. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast (included in the price) was good.
