"We had an absolutely wonderful stay and would wholeheartedly recommend this place, especially for families. The hospitality was exceptional, every staff member was warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. It’s hard to point out even a single flaw with our experience at this hotel. The breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of delicious options. The views were breathtaking, and having beautiful trails right on the property made the experience even more special. Overall, it was incredibly serene and peaceful, truly the perfect getaway. We would highly recommend this place and would love to return."

"We had an incredible stay at the Hotel Sanctuarium. The property and gardens were lovely. The hotel is new and everything was immaculate. The room was spacious and had a fridge. The restaurant was very good and had a gorgeous view over the valley to the mountain. It was extremely quiet and peaceful. My husband is an avid bird watcher and they put out seed and fruit for the birds and animals. They were fun to watch. The pool area is very nice. We enjoyed margaritas in the warm pool each evening after our adventures around the area. Often, we were the only people there. The staff bent over backwards to make sure were were happy. We did not have a car but there is lots of parking. It is close to La Fortuna and we could easily UBER anywhere we wanted to go. I would highly recommend Sanctuarium if you are planning a trip to Arenal."

"One of the best resorts we have lived in. The pool and hot springs were amazing. Our boys loved the pool and the view of Arenal Volcano from the pool was amazing. The staff was very courteous and great service. The property is beautiful and rooms are very nicely done. The view of mountain from the room early morning was very relaxing and fun. The location of this resort is also in also perfect for all activities around La Fortuna. "
