"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A TRUE HIDDEN GEM IN LA FORTUNA, COSTA RICA! Casa del Río is one of those places that completely took us by surprise. When you first arrive, it is so unassuming that you truly have no idea what is waiting on the other side. But once those great big gates open—WOW! You enter what feels like a hidden tropical paradise tucked away in La Fortuna. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking—lush, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by the sights and sounds of Costa Rica. There are multiple pools, including a waterslide, making it wonderful for both couples and families. We also loved that the property is pet-friendly and family-friendly. One of the things that makes Casa del Río so special is its setting along the beautiful La Fortuna River. Being able to dine beside the river adds another wonderful element to the experience, and Cuenca Restaurante offers beautiful views of Arenal Volcano. Our accommodations were beautiful and comfortable, and having our own private Jacuzzi made the experience even more relaxing. There was something magical about sitting in the Jacuzzi surrounded by the rainforest, especially when the Costa Rican rain began to fall. The entire property has such a peaceful, sanctuary-like atmosphere, and the warm hospitality made our stay even more memorable. We honestly wished we had stayed longer. Casa del Río truly feels like a hidden tropical paradise, and it is a place we would absolutely return to."

"One of the most incredible hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Don’t hesitate and don’t use any other local hot Springs they just feel like a Lido whereas the hotel has such a beautiful and scenic facilities, which means you’ll never have to buy entrance for local hot Springs! Huge shout out to both Evelyn and Andres at the front desk such hospitable incredible wise and friendly staff. It was so good here and especially happy hour that we extended the trip by day. I miss it already. I’m so happy to come here. It made my whole experience visiting Costa Rica🇨🇷 Pura Vida!!!"

"This place was amazing! The landscaping is a jungle motif, and they have an army of people to maintain the place. The hot pools are beautiful, well maintained and amazing. There is a hot tub that is shaped like a flower, and two swimming pools. Breakfast is a buffet that is absolutely amazing. It consists of a salad bar, an omelette bar, a bread, bar, hot breakfast entrées including typical Costa Rican, Gallo, Pinto, and cold cuts, juices, cereal, milk, and is included with your room. The rooms are beautiful with a stunning view of the Arno volcano. And the price cannot be beat. Highly recommend this place!"

"Arenal Paraiso does not disappoint. The location is great. The cabins fit what we needed. The thermal springs were so relaxing. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed our stay and will be back. Thank you to the awesome staff who made us have an awesome stay! Highly recommend."
