“Came here to celebrate a milestone birthday. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. Be advised the main beach is quite small and very rocky, however you can take a kayak over to a much longer expanse of beach if long walks on the beach are your things. Also, they do provide watershoes -facilitating the process of walking over the rocks. The scenery is quite beautiful and they did have some extras which was much appreciated (free first dinner, free Indian river tour). I do recommend this place &……

“Staff were nice and attentive. When we arrived, they informed us our room didn’t have AC. The breakfast options are very limited. They offer corn flakes or toast. For a Dominican breakfast like “mangú” etc. You will have to pay extra. Plus an additional 28% fee on anything you consume at the restaurant.”

“I have been coming to this property for at least five years, and I can honestly say that I truly love this place. The location is beautiful, especially the beachfront setting and the incredible views. There is something very special about being here, and that is why I continue to return year after year. However, it is becoming increasingly disappointing to see the property decline with each visit. Every time I come back, I notice that the hotel appears less and less well maintained. Areas that……

“Unfortunately, my experience at El Valle Lodge was disappointing. From the moment we arrived, I felt that the treatment we received was not welcoming. We were made to feel as though we didn’t belong there, which was especially upsetting because we were simply vacationing in our own country. I was also surprised that basic amenities such as coffee and even ice came at an additional cost. For the price of the stay, I expected a more welcoming experience and better attention to the comfort of……

“The room we had was excellent. The little bar on site was was also very cool and welcoming. The only downside keeping me from giving an overall 5-star review was the loud music from the bar that went well into the evening and then into the morning. I would certainly stay again…but I’ll bring the ear plugs next time :-) ”

“My wife and I stayed for 9 days in March. Communication was prompt and helpful. Check in was a breeze. You will need a car, but nothing is far away in Aruba. This was our first time on the island and we were so pleased to be in serene surroundings. We really enjoyed having a pool available on alternate days of beaches, hiking, golf and snorkeling. The buildings are recently renovated and are quite modern; the grounds were like a restful oasis. The hosts were helpful with suggestions for car……
