“Arrived at 11.30pm. Room on ground floor was huge and warm with 2 very comfortable beds. Made a brew and went to bed. Bathroom tiny but not an issue. Staff seemed friendly but didn't really see anyone. Paid extra as we arrived after 10pm.”

“Had a lovely one night stay. The surroundings were lovely and lodge was clean with plenty of facilities. Lovely decor and was great sitting outside.”

“I've stayed here a few times over the past 12 months when on business. I've stayed nearby too when they were full, but always come back to The Hilton. Great hotel and location, only gripe would be to increase the food choices on the menu ”

“No toilet paper and other amenities refill, been talked to the staff a few times and get ignored about bath tub stopper no one come and check or fix and unable to help us change the room. The hotel charged twice and still cannot get a refund… bad experience ever! ”

“I stayed overnight at CrossBasket Castle with my boyfriend as he received a generous voucher for the Michel Roux Jr tasting menu. The hotel and staff are absolutely brilliant and extremely knowledgeable and hospitable. The food is exquisite and it’s possibly one of the finest cheese boards we have ever had. Look forward to retuning one day.”

“This is an all stars facility. The Inn is a new property with just a few minutes away from local amenities and 30 min from Glasgow. We stayed 2 nights there and it is highly recommended. ”

“Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war sehr gut. Das Zimmer war ebenfalls gut eingerichtet und auch das Personal an der Rezeption ist freundlich und professionell. Leider befand sich gegenüber des Zimmers ein Lokal/eine Gaststätte, aus der auch um 2 Uhr nachts noch laute Musik spielte. Aber ich denke, dass das Hotel auch keinen Einfluss darauf hatte.”

“What a pleasant surprise as it was not what I expected. Check in across the road at an enticing Indian Restaurant - able to safely park car in the Restaurant Car Park - room was very clean, comfortable bed, great shower, larger than usual TV. Room looked out on a busy dual carriageway but noise limited by glazed window and noise from pub downstairs was bearable and ended at closing time. Pricing was incredible. Will definitely be back.”
