“The rooms were decent but we had lost power for several 4+hours due to storms and tornados hitting all around us so it was not due to the hotel.. the young 20+ plus man did an awesome job staying calm and helping with people constantly coming up to the desk. He remained calm even when people lashed out at him like he could do something about the storms and power. He did an excellent job. I was very impressed with his ability to talk people down and calm them. ”

“Check-in was a little slow to arrive but friendly, efficient, and helpful once we got started. The room was very clean and spacious. Every interaction with staff was pleasant. Breakfast was adequate but limited. This was a good stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back or recommend it. ”

“Stayed with four couples for weekend of catching up, games, and big meals. We all loved it. Nice big spaces for us to cook and eat together. Everyone had comfortable sleeping arrangements and an easy walk to shopping in the square. Will come again. The Peanut Bar was a favorite for bloody Marys and mules.”

“My husband and i along with another couple rented the cabins for a weekend get away. It was everything it said it was going to be. We fished ( i caught 30 plus fish in 24 hrs. It was awesome) used the yayaks and boat. And We enjoyed the fire pit area both nights.”

“Excellent. Lots of room. Beautifully furnished. Well supplied kitchen. We appreciated the puzzles & cards. Great linens. Complementary wine. Just a few tiny things. The bathroom door upstairs does not securely latch. Nightlights & tissue in the bathrooms would be nice.”
