“We had a lovely week at Heartwood Barn in this rustic barn conversion. Located down a delightful track, over a field with horses grazing and into the forest where the barn is situated. It feels like a million miles from anywhere, yet is only 15 minutes to Carmarthen and easy to get lots of other interesting places. The barn is independent of the main farmhouse which is below on a steep incline. It is hard to describe how enchanting the farm is, but it is impossible not to love the natural beauty……

“The room was spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Despite the limitations of Covid we had a huge choice for breakfast. From full Welsh breakfast, to fresh milk and eggs direct from the farm. Our children loved staying on a working farm, there was even a calf born overnight! The room was spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Our host was very helpful in directing us to local places to eat, walks we could go on and beaches and attractions to visit. Nothing……

“Roomy dog friendly accommodation located off the courtyard. Not wonderful in bad weather as have to walk across the courtyeard in the rain to get to the main building.”
