“Great view from the room and the cafeteria/restaurant. The mountain and the river behind are spectacular. The room itself is quite nice and big as well. However, the only public transportation to get to the hotel is by bus. Even it is only three minutes walk to downtown, still strongly recommend to rent a car if you would like to explore more in the neighborhood. The hotel has its own underground parking lot. So it is not a problem for parking.”

“Our stay at Quinta Da Marka was exceptional. This centuries-old vineyard overlooks the Douro River, with sweeping views in every direction. The accommodations are a newer addition and include seven comfortable, well-appointed rooms. Guests can also enjoy the pool, scenic river-view terraces, and walking paths through the vineyard.
