“We enjoyed our stay, staff friendli & helpful. We loved the bathroom, nice, large & roomy, plenty of towels. Beds were comfy. The only downfall was the thermostat. We were either too cold or too hot!”

“Everything was great Only problem we had was we ask for extra pillows and they daid they had none but they had empty rooms with 4 pillows ours only came with 2. Im sure they could have pulled pillows from another room if they wanted too. ”

“Quaint. Lake of Egypt area and out of the bustle of Marion proper. A little dated; but pretty good bang for your buck. Rooms are nice. Beds are comfortable and if you want a hint of curry...you may want to bring some. Stay here - a no nonsense inn.”

“The toilet stool had a crack in the side, and it had a bolt missing on the bottom. When you moved on it it would tilt. The hair dryer outlet had a big crack, and it looked like it had been smoking. The outlet was not GFCI (dangerous). The air conditioning system did not work properly. The trash outside of the building was not emptied for the 5 days we were there. There were weeds all around the outside of the building. The coffee was good.”

“The stay was great. It was very clean, comfy and cozy. Had all the amenities we needed. It was a little hard to find the exact house at night, the house itself didn't have numbers on it and the mailbox was further away at the end of the long driveway. It was near a lake but not on the lake. ”

“Clean, comfortable and staff very friendly. Room a/c didn't get the room as cold as I like, but that was because the bed was almost against it. Plenty of choices for breafast. Only downfall was having to get our own replacement towels.”
