“Amazing gem in the Montalcino nearby area in the heart of Tuscany! The place is beautiful with a very interesting history and never hurts that it is in a winery to enjoy great Brunello while there. Minnie the manager was simply amazing with endless tips, information, and help. Thank you!”

“We had a tremendous stay at Capanna Suites. From the very first moment we stepped into reception hotel, we could already feel the warmth and friendliness from Anna and co. The suite itself was classy and full of character. We had a brilliant private spa experience which was super relaxing after a long driver during the day. We also had our best dinner in Italy watching the sunset!
Would highly recommend others to enjoy the Tuscan life at Capanna Suites.”

“Michele and Sara are awesome. Michele greeted us and got us settled in. He provided local information on things to see, do and places to eat.
We were extremely happy with our room. It was unique and well appointed. They had a small tray with biscotti and an Italian liquor waiting for us. Shower was hot. Bathroom great and well lit. Bed was very comfortable and the best pillows I had found in Italy. It is located in a centuries old palace. The room had some of the original stone exposed which……

“This is the first night we stayed in Toscana. The hotel is a real castle located on the top of the hill. The beautiful landscape of agricultural view seen from the hotel was panoramic and breathtaking. The family suite was cozy, containing one living room and two bedrooms. The thermal swimming pool was fantastic and spa center was amazing. Breakfast was flourish. The dinner was also good but overpriced actually. As a whole, I highly recommend staying in Catello di Velona as you visit Toscana.”
