“I recently had a wonderful stay at Athol Park Guest House, and I wanted to share my experience: 1. The location is fantastic, situated in a peaceful area just a short walk from the beach. 2. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. 3. Breakfast provided a reasonable selection of choices. 4.My single room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all necessary amenities. I highly recommend this guest house!”

“We had an amazing time! Hotel is lovely, clean and well presented; the owners can't do enough for you! We could not fault this hotel, everything was as you would expect from a 4 star property. Our bedroom was spacious, lovely high power shower, ample space for your belongings and a cosy sofa ideal for watching TV. “Warm welcome, enjoyed delicious breakfast and nice chat with owners each morning. Facilities in good condition and well maintained. Decorated intentionally making guests a home stay feel. Near bus stop and promenade, also walkable distance to main streets and dock. To nitpick, there’s creaky sound walking on the wooden floor.”

“A very well appointed hotel on the Seafront of Douglas. Staff freindly and restaurant was very good. French style menu. The hotel has kept its early years character whilst implementing modern touches to compliment the decor. Room was spacious and again well appointed with all you need, tea/coffee making, flat screen tv, fridge with water snd plenty sockets/ USB charge points. Highly recommend.”

“The guest house was in a good location just off the promenade. Room was spotless and in very good condition. Bed was very comfortable and made daily. Room was well appointed. Breakfast each morning was high quality and everything was freshly made. Dora the proprietor was very attentive and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble if needed some assistance. I would definitely stay there again if in Douglas and would recommend to family and friends. ”
