We chose this bed and breakfast based on others’ reviews- and you should, too! Our room was lovely and homey and had everything you’d want or need available. Mike and Julie are spectacularly thoughtful hosts. We felt welcomed, cared for, and a little bit spoiled :) during our three day stay. Will absolutely stay here again on our next visit to VT!

I had a wonderful stay at the Vermont Golden Stage Inn B&B. The standout feature was the excellent customizable multi-course breakfast, which catered to my preferences and set the tone for each day. The room was impeccably clean, and the inn's beautiful property offered a tranquil atmosphere. I felt safe and cozy throughout my stay, thanks to the welcoming hosts who went above and beyond to make me feel at home. Golden Stage Inn is a wonderful B&B. I visited with my husband and two teenagers at the end of December. Julie and Mike, the owners, are the absolute best! They made our stay so cozy and enjoyable! B&B at it's best

Julie and Mike are fantastic hosts. Wonderful breakfasts, personable, and great fun to talk to. A terrific Vermont farm house, comfy bed. All in all, a great experience.

It was a great place comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast was excellent., they always had out coffee and cookies in the afternoon. They will put out soup cookies and cake at night time friendly staff close to everything and the ski mountain we will go back again.. very clean nice living room will fly place to sit and read and have a drink

Great stay, the hosts were very accommodating. Offered recommendations to do while I was in the area. Allowed use of a refrigerator; coffee, tea and cookies were offered all day long. Vermont is a very green, unpopulated state. Will visit again.

Love this place!!

This place is wonderful! Very comfortable and clean. The owners really go the extra mile to make it a real home comfort feeling with hot cider, Cookies, and more. The main room has board games, books, and puzzles with a cozy setting around the fireplace. The Breakfast was made fresh to our liking and so good! The owners are extremely friendly and and helpful. We will be back.

Our stay at the Golden Stage Inn was nothing short of amazing! The hospitality and coziness was everything we could have hoped for! We enjoyed sitting by the fire and relaxing along with the afternoon soup after getting off the slopes at Okemo/Killington. The endless cookie jar was a sweet added bonus, and Mike’s Saturday night chocolate cake was a total wow! Thank you for such a wonderful experience. Be sure to say hi to the sheep in the back, they are vocal and cute. We can’t wait to come back!

If you're looking for a cozy, welcoming, and thoughtfully run bed-and-breakfast, the Golden Stage Inn is a true gem. Julie, Mike, and their sweet dog Maisie have created something special—an atmosphere that feels both homey and quietly luxurious. Every detail is designed for comfort and delight. The breakfasts are consistently amazing, with fresh, hearty options that start your day off right. Our room was not only beautifully kept but also had its own heat adjustment, which made it easy to stay comfortable no matter the weather. The beds? Exceptionally comfortable. We slept soundly every night thanks to the quiet surroundings and the peaceful energy of the inn. The amenities go far beyond the basics. There’s free parking, of course, but also a puzzle table, board games, and a living room that feels like the heart of the house—complete with soft seating and a glowing fireplace that makes it the perfect spot to read or unwind. Throughout the day, you’ll find hot apple cider, coffee, tea, and cookie jars filled with fresh-baked cookies that somehow taste like childhood and comfort all at once. Outside, the charm continues. We loved visiting the chickens and soaking in the views—especially at night. The stargazing here is unmatched. It’s the kind of place where you look up and remember how vast and beautiful the world can be. We had a wonderful time and can’t recommend the Golden Stage Inn enough. It’s not just a place to stay—it’s a place to feel restored.

Perfect ski weekend for family of 4. Very neat and clean. Inn keepers were lovely. Breakfast was thoughtfully prepared and delicious. Saturday night chocolate cake did not disappoint. Highly recommend.
